Pragyanam is a K-12 school in Gurugram owned and managed by FP Life Education Foundation an entity registered under companies act 2013. Pragyanam has been founded by IIT-IIM alumni, same group as Footprints Childcare. In the last 9 years, Footprints has served 29000+ parents, across 80+ centers in India. 'Pragyanam' which means wisdom or understanding in Sanskrit, has been founded on the core belief that the objective of learning in the 21st century is to raise mindful, conscientious individuals who root for competence over competitiveness and aspire to live a life of happiness and fulfilment. Pragyanam has developed a “Life Skills based Curriculum” where subjects are used as a medium to develop life-skills. While the main focus is on developing these life-skills, learning will happen along the way.
A Seasoned Educator, Amita has over 30 years of experience in education. She has successfully served diverse age groups across well respected brands. She has extensive experience with all age groups of children and has been heading Curriculum and Delivery for India's most loved pre-school chain, Footprints, for the last 10 Years. She is also one of the very few Highscope Curriculum certified trainers in India and a volunteer course-leader with Landmark Education – world’s largest training company.
A graduate from the prestigious Delhi College of Engineering, Yatharth chose to pursue his passion and contribute towards education. Through the course of his Teach for India Fellowship, he worked to create impact at the grassroot level, leading a diverse range of projects within the school and outside. One of his most significant contributions has been as the founding member of the 3rd free English Medium Secondary School in Pune, through a successful public-private partnership. Post his TFI fellowship, Yatharth has majorly been teaching the international curriculums (IB & IGCSE) for Science, while taking on varied responsibilities at the school level. His last assignment was with Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon as a Maths & Physics educator for Middle and Senior School.
Yatharth has also nurtured his own initiative for STEM education, leading a team of teachers and interns. He is a wellness enthusiast, a level-2 certified Yoga teacher with the Govt of India (AAYUSH ministry) and a voluntary faculty with the Art of Living Foundation. He has organized and conducted hundreds of programs, impacting thousands of people.
A father of twins and a seasoned entrepreneur Raj, is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. Amongst many of his laurels is his taking a software services firm to a 10 million turn over with 350 employees and 3 countries in 10 Years. He is passionate about transforming Indian Education Sector. As a Co-Founder and CEO of Footprints Childcare, he yearns towards creating world-class education facilities in India.
Ashish is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Calcutta and the father of an 11-year old. He firmly believes that the Indian education system is long due for a transformation and our schools need to play a significant role in creating mature and wise individuals, who can happily take on any challenges life throws at them.
An IIT Delhi alumnus, Purvesh entered the field of education when he co-founded an e-Learning company in 2000. Purvesh is also a trained life coach and he focuses on helping people lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. His vision includes revolutionizing education, by creating life ready children, who grow to be happy and satisfied adults.
Arpita has done her Bachelor`s in English from Delhi University. Presently she is pursuing Masters in English along with a diploma program in Early Childhood Education from IGNOU. She is also pursuing B. Ed. From MDU. She was a national-level roller skater, a state-level gymnast and swimmer. She has also got her training in classical music from Prayag sangeet samiti with experience in theatre as well. She believes in helping young children to unlock their potential and strives to create a space for children to discover their own learning styles.
Anuradha has a master`s degree in Modern History from Jamia Millia Islamia university. A graduate from Lady Sri Ram college for women, University of Delhi. She has completed her B.Ed. and cleared CTET. She has experience of working with institutions like Army Public School, teaching NGO Shanti Sahyog. She has also worked as a spoken English facilitator with Delhi Government Coed school. Additionally, she has worked with Byjus, as a content developer. She is currently working with Pragyanam as Mother teacher Kindergarten.
Rakhee brings with herself a teaching experience of 8 years panning across India and Nepal. Prior to Pragyanam, she has worked in reputed schools like Utpal Shanghvi global school (IGCSE , Mumbai) and St. Xavier’s ( Kathmandu ,Nepal). She is passionate about working in the field of education where she can help develop scientific temper among learners and make them think analytically, critically, and creatively to solve problems. She believes that her role is of a facilitator to provide a holistic environment for the learner to grow. She holds a Master of Science degree in Botany and a B. Ed from Mumbai University. She is CTET qualified and holds a Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers.
Nusrat is a Trained Montessori Teacher with rich background of teaching native as well as overseas students. Before teaching she has worked as a process trainer in different MNCs. She believes that creativity is the engine of innovation. She uses the student`s own curiosity and innate, boundless creativity as the fuel to propel the student well past the milestones. Hailing from Kashmir and bought up in Delhi, Nusrat brings a touch of rich culture, modesty and sharp perspective.
Dance Teacher (Indian)
Suvarna is a trained professional Kathak artist, having a vast experience of stage performance since the past sixteen years. She holds a Senior Diploma and Masters degree in Kathak. Apart from her professional qualifications , she holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature from Delhi University and a Masters degree in Communication and Journalism from University of Mumbai. One of her notable achievements include her performance as a kathak artiste in the famous musical play, Mughal-E-Azam. Besides this, she has featured in dance numbers in two Bollywood movies namely Super 30 and Milan Talkies. Additionally, she has also assisted award winning choreographer Vijay Ganguly, in several projects of Bollywood. Her passion towards dancing lead her to pursue the noble profession of teaching.
Priyanka is a contemporary artist with graduate and postgraduate degree in painting from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, Gujarat. She has received Inlaks India Award, Pollock Krasner Grant and Gästeatelier Gasmesserhaus residency in Switzerland for her artistic practice to name a few. She has experience teaching in Ansal University for a year and Kunskapsskolan Gurgaon for 3 years where she focused on skill enhancement of students. She, being a traveller, brings lots of experiences and stories to her lessons.
Social Science Teacher and SEN Co-ordinator
Divisha is an RCI registered special educator with demonstrated history of dealing with parents of neurodiverse children of age 0-6years, counselling them to deal with the new infant and structures to be followed at home for their early intervention program. She has a diverse 7 years of experience in all educational field as an assistant to an early interventionist, Montessori directress In THE ARDEE WORLD SCHOOL and now serving in Pragyanam as Social Studies facilitator and Instructional Lead. She explores all areas of education to deal with all various learners and mentoring them in an effective manner to achieve at utmost level by using distinct pedagogical approaches based on kind of learner. She is equipped to deal with an inclusive classroom set ups. She has done PG diploma in special education, bachelor`s degree in education, Montessori trained from MMI UK, diploma in Spl. Sangeeta is an experienced Hindi teacher and teaching since 1999. Dance Teacher (Western)
With 18 years of experience in choreography, Sushant has also got training in Funk Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary dance techniques. As an instructor, he specializes in Hip Hop, Urban, Funk Jazz, Ballroom, Bollywood and Latin dances with a certification as a ballroom dance instructor from Poland. Sushant has also worked as a dance instructor in some of the prestigious schools like Pathways School, Noida and The British School. He has also done school productions annually for about 20 schools. He has also taken workshops on teaching Bollywood, in Cairo, Egypt. Being a visionary choreographer and educator, he enjoys working with creative minds, sharing dance education with a community having respect for this form of art and thus creating a knowledgeable learning and working environment to be in. Being a dance fanatic, he is a true performer at heart with a fondness for the stage.
Parth is an experienced French teacher. Not only he is enthusiastic about the subject from which he has graduated, he also got a crush on foreign languages. Over the months, he has acquired relevant interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent results. Being a young language teacher, he is pretty much flexible and has an open mindset that enables him to deal effectively with students from all backgrounds. He strives to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles and enthusiastically helps them to develop their interests and love for the language.
Priyanka Puri Dhiman
Holding Master`s degree in Psychology and Political Science, Priyanka has about a decade long experience of working in Nursing Colleges as a Teaching Faculty. She is UGC-NET qualified and also holds a B.Ed degree from GNDU, Amritsar. She has worked with the team for rehabilitating people with chronic psychiatric illnesses at GMCH-32, Chandigarh.
Heena holds a Master`s degree in finance from Amity School of Distance Learning and B.Ed from MDU, Rohtak. She has an experience of 9 years in the administrative field with reputed schools of Noida and Gurugram. She has worked with Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar for 2.5 years before joining Pragyanam. She believes that through fun learning activities, students will feel excited in learning according to their potential and talents.
Pooja believes that the art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery. She encourages students to ask questions and investigate their own ideas to improve their problem-solving skills as well as gain a deeper understanding of academic concepts. Both of which are important life skills. She has done bachelor`s in education and NTT. She is pursuing an international story telling course to enhance her teaching skills.
Physical Education Teacher
Seema completed her bachelor`s degree in Physical Education Teaching & Coaching from M.D.U. Haryana followed by B.P. Ed. from C.C.S. University and M.PE from Institute of Studies in Education University Rajasthan. Her formal training in Sports Education has helped her build excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. She has participated in Basketball Nationals, NETBALL NATIONAL, and State Games and was also awarded ‘basketball player of the year` in 1997,1998, and 1999. Seema began her career as a PE teacher in 2008 and in a career spanning a decade so far, she has worked with schools such as Cambridge School Noida, Amity International School – Vasundhra, Teri Prakriti School Gurugram, and GEMS Modern Academy. Seema is also trained in Yoga and holds a 1-year Diploma from Patanjali Institute of Yoga, Haridwar.
Sonam is an educationist and an extremely progressive personality. Sonam`s whole approach has been about turning students` perspectives from \"problems\" to "solutions" and seeing learners grow in knowledge, skills and confidence is her greatest joy in teaching. Noopur Ojha Sharma
Caring about the students is what inspires Noopur to reach out, do better, communicate more, ask, learn, refine, and improve. She has done her engineering from-RGPV University, Bhopal. After working as a software engineer in Infosys and RBS for 5 years, she took a break of 7 years to raise her daughter. While bringing her up, she discovered her passion for teaching young children. She did voluntary worked in Kuwait and London for leading primary schools.
Surekha has over a decade of experience in modern language teaching and worked with leading schools including DPS, Bangalore and Excel Public School, Mysore in different capacities and responsibilities, where she had contributed to teaching and developing linguistic skills. Mathematics Teacher and Instructional Lead
Jyotsna Aggarwal has a rich and diverse experience in teaching. She has worked with both CBSE and IB schools in Gurugram. Before joining Pragyanam, she was working with Lancers in Gurgaon, where she worked as a PYP homeroom tutor. Prior to teaching, she worked as a Banker with one of the leading private sector banks. While raising her own children, she realised the impact of the quality education that schools provide, on students who grow up to be responsible adults. She knew her passion and love for learning will contribute to the lives of children and thus the journey in education sector began. She holds an Electrical Engineering degree and a PGDBA (HRM) degree from Symbiosis Pune. She also holds a B.Ed degree.
